More importantly, the battery life has drastically improved by nearly four times to up to 60 hours with both Bluetooth and adaptive noise cancellation on. Audio quality is still on the high end with Sennheiser's Signature Sound powered by large 42mm drivers. Sound can easily be customized to your individual hearing with the Sennheiser Smart Control app. Add in clear calls from four beamforming mics with wind-noise suppression, and you have a pair of headphones that can be used throughout your entire day.
In addition to the Smart Control app (iOS and Android) that tailors sound settings to your personal hearing, you get a built-in EQ, EQ presets, and various sound modes to further adjust how your music and other audio entertainment sounds.
With adaptive noise cancellation, the MOMENTUM 4 headphones will automatically adjust the ambient noise it cancels out based on your surroundings. When you do need to hear what's around you, such as traffic or to have a quick conversation, you can engage Transparency Mode to let those outside sounds in without having to take off the headphones.
If you've forgotten to recharge your MOMENTUM 4 headphones, you can get up to 4 hours of playback with a quick 5-minute charge.
The MOMENTUM 4 headphones immediately turn on when you pick them up, and they will automatically shut off to preserve battery life if they go 15 minutes without use.
Audio playback automatically pauses as soon as you take off the MOMENTUM 4 headphones. Playback is automatically resumed as soon as you put them back on.
The lightweight design is complemented by a padded headband and thick, cushioned earpads. When you're done listening, the fold-flat earcups allow the MOMENTUM 4 to conveniently store inside the included hard case. The slim size of the case makes it easy to take with you, and the soft fabric covering protects your headphones while inside.
Touch controls on the right earcup allow you to easily control audio playback, ANC, mobile calls, and access to your device's voice assistant.
