The EPIC Lightweight Travel Ball Head from Sunwayfoto is a full-featured travel ball head that uses a hollow 36mm ball and a series of computer calculated cutouts to reduce weight without reducing strength or performance. The lightweight aluminum head has a load capacity of 33.1 lb and a large main control knob for easy grip when tightening or loosening the load. A small dial integrated in the main knob provides tension adjustment to prevent the camera load from dropping suddenly when released. The panning base features an independent locking knob, and the engraved scale is useful for precision movement. The Arca-style quick release receiver also features a weight saving skeleton design and an engraved scale for precise plate alignment, and a standard DP-50SR quick release plate is included.
