The F2-212 is an updated version of the previous generation F2-210. The F2-212 features a more powerful ARM V8.2 Cortex-A55 64-bit 1.7GHz quad-core processor with built-in floating point unit (FPU) and NEON SIMD engine, 1GB DDR4, and advanced video DSP hardware acceleration. Moreover, it boasts enhanced 4K video encoding and decoding capabilities, making it ideal for home document backup and multimedia entertainment.

New Operating System

The F2-212 NAS server, running TOS 5.1, enhances functionality with 50+ new features and 600 improvements compared to the previous version. It meets diverse business needs, enhances speed, security, and user-friendliness. Supporting a single HDD up to 22TB and total of 44TB, it backs up data from Windows PC, MAC, mobile, HDD enclosure, and network disk for centralized management, preventing data loss due to hardware issues or ransomware.

Home Multimedia Center

The F2-212 cloud storage features powerful 4K video hardware decoding capability, and is compatible with uPnP/DLNA protocol. With TerraMaster’s dedicated "Multimedia Server" app or third-party multimedia servers (Emby, Plex), it can stream videos to a variety of multimedia devices including smart phones, tablets, Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, and smart TV, delivering users constant, reliable entertainment experiences.
