The supercardioid polar pattern delivers focused pickup in front of the mic and the switchable 150 Hz high-pass filter attenuates rumble and low-frequency handling noise. The mic's low-noise circuitry and wide 60 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response allow quality signal capture for speech, ambient sound, and sound effects. Wind noise can be effectively reduced using the supplied windshield and windscreen.

To ensure reliable operation with a variety of devices such as cameras, mixer adapters, and portable audio recorders, the BY-BM6060 microphone runs on a single AA battery or 12 to 48 VDC phantom power. It utilizes a balanced XLR output for straightforward connectivity.

Built with an aluminum-alloy housing, the BY-BM6060 offers ruggedness while remaining lightweight, a welcome combination for comfortable use on boompoles.

Supercardioid Polar Pattern

The BY-BM6060's supercardioid polar pattern delivers focused responsiveness in front of the mic, moderate rejection at the rear, and enhanced attenuation at the sides, making it well suited for recording subjects outdoors or in acoustically treated rooms.

Full-Range Frequency Reproduction

The wide 60 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response of the microphone allows it to accurately capture speech, ambient sounds, and more. The switchable high-pass filter attenuates low frequencies below 150 Hz to help you control difficult bass issues such as rumble and traffic noise.

Battery or Phantom Powered

Able to be run on a single AA battery or 12 to 48 VDC phantom power, the BY-BM6060 can be used with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, professional camcorders, field recorders, and handheld audio recorders. The XLR 3-pin output provides a balanced, high-quality connection point.

Wind Protection
