This lens brings video to life in a way that spherical (non-anamorphic) lenses cannot. It works by squeezing the image horizontally at a factor of 1.33x to record a higher resolution onto the sensor. The image is then de-squeezed in real time using an app, such as Moment's Pro Camera app, or during post-production. The result is a 2.40:1 (21:9) aspect ratio for videos and 1.78:1 (16:9) for photos. Also featured is a blue lens flare, which brings that early 1960s cinematic look to your phone.
