Shoot MP4s up to UHD 4K at 30 fps or slow-motion 1080p video at 120 fps. Photos can be captured in JPG formats up to 20MP with the option to shoot in continuous or interval modes. A USB-C port facilitates charging and connection to your computer to function as a webcam. Toggle HDR and WDR video or images to capture the action no matter what time of day. A wide white balance range accommodates anything from daylight to underwater conditions. Other settings include a -2.0 to +2.0 exposure compensation, motion detection, time-lapse, slow motion, and 8x digital zoom. There's also a pre-recording function so you don't miss that split second of important video before or after you hit the record button. Store it all on a microSD card using the integrated slot that supports cards up to 128GB.
The SJ20 features 6-axis gyro anti-shake technology with an intelligent algorithm that corrects for offset and shake, making images smoother and capturing more fluid detail.
On its own, the SJ20 is waterproof up to 16' with the included frames to shoot underwater content. If you're hoping to dive to deeper depths, use the included waterproof case to reach depths up to 131' below the surface.
A rear 2.29" touchscreen facilitates intuitive onboard control of your camera settings. A front 1.3" LCD works as a live-view monitor to ensure everyone is in frame during vlogs or selfies.
An integrated 800mAh battery powers the SJ20 for 3 hours when shooting UHD 4K video. If you're hoping to extend your shoot time, use the included 1050mAh external battery. The internal battery can be recharged via the USB-C port.
Using the SJ20's built-in 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi, you can connect to the iOS/Android SJCAM ZONE app to download your recorded videos and photos and share them directly to social media platforms. The companion app also offers some editing tools, and it allows you to live stream from the camera or use it for video chats instead of a webcam.
