HERO13 Black takes its best-in-class image quality to the next level with the option to record in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), a standard HDR format that the pros use to capture 5.3K and 4K video in the 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color space. This advanced feature requires a compatible display and media player for playback. Users can still capture video using HDR without HLG for viewing on standard displays and media players.

Widescreen, Vertical + Full Screen Capture
HERO13 Black's powerful 1/1.9" image sensor lets you do more. Choose widescreen capture (16:9 aspect ratio) for full-screen playback on a TV or vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) for social media posting. For maximum versatility, the full frame option (8:7 aspect ratio) captures a 156 Degree field of view that lets you crop in to create widescreen and vertical shots later.

10-Bit Color + Log Encoding
HERO13 Black lets you choose between capturing standard video at 10-bit or Log encoding at 10-bit with GP-Log.
