Add protection and a variety of accessories to your Sony a7R IV mirrorless camera with this Full Cage with Side Handle Kit from SmallRig. The kit includes a full, formfitting camera cage, a side handle with 1/4"-20 mounting screws, and an HDMI cable clamp.
The cage is designed to fit the camera without blocking access to any ports or slots, and it features numerous mounting threads and a shoe mount. The aluminum side handle features a nonslip silicone grip, mounts onto either side of the cage using two included 1/4"-20 screws, and can slide up and down for position adjustment. The cable clamp mounts onto the cage to prevent your HDMI cable from pulling or disconnecting.
SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a7R IV
The lightweight Camera Cage from SmallRig provides accessory mounting and protection for your Sony a7R IV series mirrorless camera. This formfitting aluminum cage maintains access to the camera's controls and features a variety of mounting options. Strap holes are included to add a separately available wrist or neck strap to your rig.
In addition to one shoe mount and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the durable aluminum cage features several ARRI-style accessory threads for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage also incorporates an anti-twist design with an M2.5 screw in addition to the 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw so your camera can't move around in the cage. Mounting holes on the front allow mounting a separately available lens adapter. A flat screwdriver is built into the bottom of the cage for tightening the camera screw.
Compatibility
Use the Aluminum Universal Side Handle from SmallRig to securely grasp your camera cage. This aluminum handle mounts via two 1/4"-20 screws spaced 0.71" apart. It can be configured for right- or left-side use and slides up and down 1.7" for optimal positioning on your rig.
The top of the handle features three 1/4"-20 threads and one cold shoe mount for adding a light, microphone, monitor, mounting arm, or other accessory. The Aluminum Universal Side Handle features a non-slip silicone grip and includes an Allen wrench that can be stored within the handle.
SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp for Sony a7 II/a7R II/a7S II or Nikon Z6/Z7 Cage
This SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp is designed to fit SmallRig's a7 II half cage (1673) and a7 II cage (1660), or the full cage (2243) for the Nikon Z6 or Z7 camera. When installed, the cable clamp helps to prevent the cable from being unintentionally removed and damaging the fragile micro-HDMI port.
