A modular cage system for using the Canon C80 cinema camera in different configurations, this Camera Cage Base Kit from Tilta is made up of top and bottom plates, left and right side arm plates, and multiple mount options via multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and the included NATO rail and cold shoe. In addition to clearance for ports, power and settings buttons, and heat dissipation vents, this C80 cage features one side plate with button extensions for tactile feedback with the original controls, while the other side plate offers easy use in the vertical orientation with multiple mount points. The top plate also allows unobstructed access to the native top handle mounting point.
