The kit includes the HawkLock half cage and a removable top NATO rail. The camera mounts onto the cage using screws on the bottom and one side, preventing twisting or movement. The removable HawkLock NATO top plate makes the cage compatible with numerous NATO accessories. When removed, it can accommodate the original XLR top handle or other accessories that require full access to the top hot shoe.

Featuring an integrated Arca-type quick release base, you can quickly mount the cage onto a compatible tripod head or use the built-in 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 mounting threads to mount the camera plate for your specific tripod head.
